About this production
Discover the magic of the most universal instrument of all: your own voice. In The Voice We Share, the GRAMMY-winning vocal ensemble Ars Nova Copenhagen brings children aged 6–11 face-to-face with 500 years of vocal tradition, spanning from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary sound worlds. Stripping away the distant concert stage, twelve professional singers perform at floor level, moving around and surrounding the young listeners to turn any school space into an intimate acoustic wonderland. Through humor, improvisation, and direct interaction, children are invited to warm up their voices, conduct the ensemble, and physically experience how single notes transform into rich, breathtaking harmony. It is an artistically ambitious yet emotionally immediate encounter that demystifies classical music and inspires a lifelong love for singing and community.
This immersive choral project is developed and presented by Ars Nova Copenhagen in a close educational collaboration with Levende Musik i Skolen (LMS), Denmark’s national school concert organization.
